MISSION

To promote Singapore Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Rehab & Wellness, and Traditional Chinese Medicine through modern technology, science and effectivity as well as to make Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) simple and closer to you.

To spread the Traditional Chinese Medicine wellness concept to families and individuals so as to improve the current generation’s chronic disease issues, and prevent diseases through a proactive approach to wellness treatments.

Guo Tai TCM Rehab & Wellness Centre Singapore (新加坡国泰中医康复中心)is a sister company of Guo An TCM Rehab & Wellness Centre Malaysia (马来西亚国安中医康复中心) and Yew Kok Ann TCM Clinic(马来西亚饶国安中医诊所).  Yew Kok Ann TCM Clinic, previously known as Xin Sheng Tang (杏生堂), was established in Year 1950 by Chinese Physician Yew Chi Gong, and the practice was subsequently passed down to his son Chinese Physician Yew Kok Ann in Year 1960.

During the nearly 70 years of Traditional Chinese Medicine practice, Yew Kok Ann TCM Clinic aggressively and continuously promoted good health and wellness treatment as the bedrock to illness prevention.  Hence Guo An TCM Rehab & Wellness Centre Malaysia and Guo Tai TCM Rehab & Wellness Centre Singapore was set up with the same objectives.

Our Professional Team

Dr Tang Kai Wen 

Principal Consulting TCM Physician

A full-licensed TCM physician registered with the Ministry of Health Singapore, has been in clinical practice since 2005.  In 2009, he graduated with PhD in Internal Medicine from the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and has since been practicing with a special focus on TCM Oncology where he applies an integrative approach in the management of patient rehabilitation, oncological complications, and palliative treatment.  His training and exposure in TCM Oncology also put Dr Tang in good stead for the treatment of obesity and metabolic syndrome, and premature aging; disorders intimately related to the development of cancers.

Aside being a regular contributor to the Singapore TCM Journal, the official publication of Singapore TCM Practitioners’ Association, Dr Tang is also the author of “Gua Sha – An Ancient Remedy for ContemporaryIllnesses 刮痧, 当代疾病的古法治疗”The book is marketed globally by the largest international scientific publisher in the Asia-Pacific region.

Dr Tang was a senior corporate officer with multinational corporations and local market leaders in his previous career.  His other qualifications include a master’s degree in business administration, a postgraduate qualification in marketing, an undergraduate degree in Accountancy, professional IT qualifications from the UK and USA and Fellowship with local and UK professional accountancy bodies.

Our Professional Team

Mdm. Kuan Swee Boey

A full licensed TCM physician registered with the Ministry of Health Singapore, has been in clinical practice since 2019. She graduated from Singapore College of TCM with an Advanced Diploma in TCM. She has practised in Singapore Chung Hwa Medical Institution and Public Free Clinic as a voluntary TCM Physician.

Her focus is on general medicine and acupuncture treatment for patients with problems including pain management and insomnia.

Mr. Andy Lam Yew Fook

Mr Lam is our Osteopath and a Massage Therapist.
He travelled to China several times for clinical practice, X-ray operating room practice to gain a deeper understanding of human nervous system, human bones, muscles, tendons and ligament, including practicing in BeiJing ZhongYi Hospital.
He obtained a Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage at Singapore's SOHA College. He studied various subjects at Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine for years. 
In year 2019, he learned oesteopathy techniques at TianJin BeiChen North Gate Hospital.

ln order to pursue and further strengthen pain management skills, he enrolled for various courses such as Kinesio Taping, TCM Orthopaedics Elite Training, Royalty Fitness Stretching Therapy, Neuro Manual Therapy etc. He also enrolled in courses conducted by a well-known instructor from Taiwan to study American's manipulation, bone setting and pulse gun courses. From the courses, he learned how to help patients with soreness in hands and feet, waist and legs, avoid surgery, reduce pain and improve health problems.

He also attended courses related to Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine organised by Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Our Professional Team

Mr. Thomas Tan Tong Meng

Mr Tan is currently a Osteopath and Massage Therapist. He worked as Osteopath volunteer in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

He obtained a Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage at Singapore's SOHA College. He travelled to China twice for clinical practice and cadaver laboratory in Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to gain a deeper understanding of human bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
