1.0 out of 5 stars This isn’t the same lotion you can buy in the store.

This product is NOT the same product you buy in the store. In the picture this product is on the left and the product bought in a store is on the right. It’s not even close, it doesn’t smell like the real thing, it’s sticky instead of silky, and it’s white instead of yellow. I’m not sure if this is from Burts Bees or somewhere in China but it’s just not the same thing.

After years of using a combination of aloe/shea-based moisturizer and climb-on climbing salve and still constantly suffering from dry, painful, and glassy skin - I decided to give this a try. It's been life changing. It absorbs quickly, softens (but not overly) my skin, and doesn't leave any kind of tacky feeling.

It's provided almost instant relief of any pain or glassiness that I've felt and I love this stuff! All that said, I don't use this every day. I do not apply this moisturizer the night before and the day of climbing sessions. I find that it makes chalk stick less, leaves just a slight feeling of greasiness, and overall harder to stay on the wall.

Overall 5/5 and would absolutely recommend adding this to climber's skincare routine.

I was using jojoba oil cuticle pens which worked, but it was messy and I hated the one-use plastic click pens that added plastic to the environment. I remembered getting a tin of this one holiday and ordered the 3-pack. It is far superior for carrying with you every day. I can rub this into my cuticles whenever and wherever without worry that it will be greasy since it has beeswax in it. The product is solid at room temp, it melts a little when you put your fingers in it which helps to apply it to your cuticles. SO, it melts into your cuticles well but firms up since your finger outer finger tips are just cool enough to allow the natural beeswax to harden a little, keeping all the other ingredients in place.

This is a good product to keep in your purse for rough cuticles or a sudden tear. i have started using a different product for intense repair in the morning and at night, Eight Saints High Society Botanical Face Oil, which is much more intense and healing for my nail bed, but I still need something handy in my purse or messenger bag for busy days. This serves that purpose. It is small, easy to carry, easy to open and discreet to use. The natural lemon scent is not over-powering, simply refreshing.

I especially like how the beeswax helps keep the product in place and prevent grease stains on my clothes. The metal tins can be recycled or upcycled for another purpose. I have one tin that is already close to empty and I plan to make a small emergency sewing kit out of it for hubby with a couple of shirt buttons, matching threads and appropriate size sewing needle.

I like this product for moisturizing my hands in the winter. The best way is to apply before bed and wear cotton gloves to sleep in. That way there’s plenty of time for it to work and nothing gets greasy except maybe the gloves. But I don’t always have time to do that so often I apply a little while I’m on the bus and let it sink in during the ride. I’ve also used the excess on my hands as an impromptu leave-in conditioner or finisher on my hair on days when I ran out the door and need to tame fly-aways!

I usually use vitamin E oil or jojoba oil for my stretched earlobes, and my hair would always get soooooo oily all the time it was awful.
I heard a few people mention using this and oh my goodness I am in love. It smells like walking into the herb section of a metaphysical store. If you don't like herbal smells I wouldn't reccomend, if you do, you will become addicted to the smell.
I use it daily and am never going to be without this product ever again. (don't get me wrong I still love my vitamin E oil)

I also had no idea how big the tin is, oh my lord I thought it was the smaller ones, so an even bigger bonus. Amazing price for the quality and amount.

100/10 for stretched ears and my hands are nice and soft too :)

I love this size to keep in my project bag. The formula works well and the scent isn't overpowering.

It always makes me sad when a hangnail catches on beautiful, expensive, hand-dyed yarn and this helps prevent that. Having it in my bag reminds me to put some on AFTER I finish stitching. It WILL stain so please be sure it's completely absorbed before picking up your work!

Leaves my hands feeling silky and moisturized for hours! Love it! I have dry skin and need to reapply constant with other hand creams, but this one works like a charm. Also, it has a very nice light natural scent that I like. I can be sensitive to fragrances at times, but this one is kind on my sinuses!

I always have had eczema proned skin especially on my hands but I also regularly wash my hands so I lose a lot of natural oil in my skin. I have tried every hand cream under the sun and especially the ones that say sensitive or ultra hydrating eventually start making my hands worse or just don't work at all. This cream has been fantastic I am now on my 4th jar, I apply it twice a day that's all it needs and now my hands have been the best they have ever been. It is a very thick cream but a little goes a long way, it doesn't feel oily or greasy just comfortable. I probably buy a jar once every 6 weeks or more maybe. The only side could be the smell personally I like it and don't notice it unless you put your hand to your nose, nobody has ever commented on the smell to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars It smells heavenly!!

Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on July 13, 2022

I always have a hand cream on the go because my job requires me to wash and/or sanitise my hands a lot and so they get very dry at times.
I've only been using this cream for a few days now and I can already notice a difference, my hands feel much softer. It absorbs into the skin quickly and you only need literally a pea sized amount.
The smell of this cream is gorgeous. It smells exactly like a Cherry Bakewell (so marzipan) and because of this, I find myself using it a lot more often just so I can get a whiff of it again!!😄
I would definitely recommend this product and it really is worth every penny!

I have a pot on my desk at work, one in my handbag and one on my bedside. It's amazing. I have eczema on my hands and the steroid creams break my skin. This is so healing and kind. Amazing on cuticle and broken skin. Love love love it

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't help

I have slightly drier skin all year round, but if you add to this cycling, cycling in winter and part-time bartending (hands constantly wet or covered in citrus juices or sanitiser), no wonder I often find the tips of my fingers cracked, bleeding and rough. I have been trying to fight this for ages with different products and I found this Burts Bees Beewax handcream had great reviews and a reasonable price. This one, unfortunatelly, doesn't do the job as it takes ages to absorb (although it feels nice while greasy) and doesn't improve the state of my hands in the long run despite applying around 5 times per day. Also, it would actually smell nicer if they dropped in the intensity. So far the winning product for me is quite pricey Shea Butter hand cream from L'occitane.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intensive treatment

Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on March 24, 2022

My hands have been dehydrated, sore, and feeling and looking horrible lately. I bought this with the intention to use as an overnight treatment with cotton gloves. I have used it in this way for the past two nights now and the difference already is astonishing - my hands feel moisturised, soft, smooth, and look so much better.

It is a very rich, greasy cream so if you use it during the day I would advise to do so sparingly, and I am personally not overly keen on the scent, but it works too well for that to bother me.
